Contributions help us bring you the music

The Concord Orchestra is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, but the revenue we receive from subscriptions and ticket sales covers only about 50% of our expenses. We are most grateful for individual and corporate contributions, which enable us to perform a wide variety of concerts enjoyed by concert-goers of all ages, support our young artists competition and commission new works.

Individual Contributors:

Angels $1000+
Benefactors $500+
Champions $250+
Patrons $125+
Sponsors $75+
Friends up to $75

Orchestra Funds

E-Coustic Fund: support the installation, calibration, and tune up of our brand new E-Coustic Systems music enhancement system. The new system will be installed summer 2019, and then calibrated and tuned up during performances next season.

Piano Fund: support the required regular maintenance to our circa 1917 Steinway piano

New Works Fund: support the creation of new works for symphony orchestra by contemporary composers

Ehlers Young Artist Fund: provide a stipend to the winner of the annual Young Artist Competition. Fund named to honor late orchestra supporters Chuck and Arlene Ehlers

We also deeply appreciate the many people who volunteer to usher, decorate the hall, sell tickets at the door, and host our post-concert receptions. Our spring Pops concerts are also major volunteer efforts by community members who serve all the drinks and snacks and manage the bar.

If you would like to help with these activities, please call the orchestra at (978) 369-4967 or e-mail us at

Sponsor a Chair

Since 2006, we have offered you the opportunity to dedicate an orchestra chair as a gift in the name of your family or a loved one. Your family's name or special person is recognized in each program under the section where your chair is located. You will also be mentioned as a special donor to the orchestra in our Angel category for the season. The suggested gift is $4000 for the concertmaster chair, $2000 for a principal chair for the season and $1000 for a section chair. Funds will be used to support the general operations of the Concord Orchestra.

We hope that you will take advantage of this program not only to support the orchestra with this tax-deductible gift, but also to honor a special person or family member who made music a central part of his or her life. You, our audiences, our advertisers, our contributors, our corporate sponsors and our volunteers make up our community. We are eternally grateful. Thank you.
