Clarinet soloist at Pops

Grant Anderson, principal clarinet of the Concord Orchestra since 1971, will perform the final movement of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto at Pops this year.

In 2005 he performed the full Mozart concerto with the Concord Ensemble under the direction of Alan Yost, in that ensemble’s first fund-raiser for 51 Walden.

In addition, Grant has performed solos at two previous Concord Orchestra Pops concerts: Weber’s Concertino for Clarinet and Orchestra in 1996 and Malcolm Arnold’s Clarinet Concertino in 2011.
